Wiggins, Hamilton, Stanley miss practice as Ravens prepare for Cowboys

OWINGS MILLS  — The Ravens were missing a few key players as they began preparations for their Week 3 game against the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium.

Rookie cornerback Nate Wiggins was absent after missing Sunday’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders after being involved in a car accident.

Coach John Harbaugh said Wiggins was fine, but he is listed on the injury report with a “neck/concussion” issue.

In addition, All-Pro safety Kyle Hamilton missed practice with a back injury. Hamilton played every defensive snap against the Raiders, finishing with six tackles.

Left tackle Ronnie Stanley, who has been the team’s best offensive lineman, missed practice with an ankle injury. Stanley was sidelined for 33 games between 2020 and 2022 with an ankle injury.

“We’re working through that with Ronnie,” coach John Harbaugh said. “He will be out there Sunday – I can tell you that. I don’t mind telling you that right now.”

The Ravens’ secondary carried some of the responsibility for losses in the opening two games of the season. In a 27-20 season-opening loss to Kansas City, wide receiver Rashee Rice caught seven passes for 103 yards against Baltimore. Last Sunday, in a 26-23 loss to the Raiders, Davante Adams finished with 110 yards on nine receptions with a touchdown.

Wiggins played well throughout the offseason and the Ravens could use him this week against the Cowboys and wide receiver CeeDee Lamb.

The other Ravens who were not at practice were cornerback Jalyn Armour-Davis (personal), outside linebacker Kyle Van Noy (eye), offensive lineman Malaesala Aumavae-Laulu (personal), and left tackle Ronnie Stanley (ankle).
