Ravens-Bills Week 4 predictions roundup

OWINGS MILLS — The pundits are mostly predicting that the Ravens will beat the Bills on Sunday night in their Week 4 predictions.

Here is the roundup:

BaltimoreSports.com

Analysis: “The Ravens are 20-3 in prime-time home games under coach John Harbaugh. The running game came alive against Dallas and offensive coordinator Todd Monken will try to maintain that momentum. If the Ravens can contain Allen, they will be in a solid position to win as long as they finish strong.”

Prediction: Ravens 24, Bills 23

NFL.com

Analysis:  “The Bills have been dominant the last two weeks, but the only team that gave them any trouble this season was the Cardinals, who held a 17-3 lead late in the second quarter of what turned into a 34-28 loss at Buffalo in the opener. Jackson can put the Bills’ defense on its heels like Kyler Murray did in Week 1, and perhaps a Ravens team learning from its mistakes will finish the job at home this time.” Dan Parr

Prediction: Parr Ravens 24-21; Ali Bhanpuri: Bills 26-23; Brooke Cersosimo: Ravens 28-23; Gennaro Filice: Bills 28-24; Tom Blair: Ravens 26, Bills 21

Rochester Democrat & Chronicle

Analysis: “With the Steelers off to a 3-0 start, the Ravens are already two games behind in the AFC North and as one of the highly-rated Super Bowl contenders going into the season, they can’t continue to keep stumbling. They’re coming off a nice win in Dallas, and they’re at home so they’ll take care of business.” Sal Maiorana

Prediction: Ravens 23, Bills 17

The Arizona Republic

Analysis: “If the Ravens can get to 2-2 after the 0-2 start, it will be a great sign for the rest of their season. We think the defense will be key in beating the Bills.” Jeremy Cluff

Prediction: Ravens 24, Bills 20

The Sporting News

Analysis:  “The Bills have been having fun running the ball to support Josh Allen in their diverse and balanced offense. The Ravens can be relentless running at a high level with Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry, and that’s how to attack Buffalo’s defense. Allen will run into some turnover trouble against Baltimore’s back-end looks after the Ravens apply some good inside pressure on him.” Vinnie Iyer

Prediction: Ravens 23, Bills 20

CBS Sports

Analysis:  “It took three weeks, but the Ravens have finally figured out how to win games: They just need to run the ball. … With Derrick Henry, the Ravens offense is basically a freight train that’s rolling down the tracks at full speed, and not many teams have a strong enough defense to slow down a freight train. The Bills have struggled to stop the run this year, surrendering an average of 118.3 yards per game and that number is likely only going to get worse after this showdown on Sunday night. The Bills are coming off a short week after playing on Monday night in Week 3, which is definitely an advantage for the Ravens.” John Breech

Prediction: Ravens 23, Bills 20

USA Today

Analysis: “The Ravens must solve their second-half collapses. Baltimore has been outscored 39 to 17 in the fourth quarter this season. The Bills are 3-0 for the first time since 2020. The Ravens might’ve established a rhythm between Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry. The duo combined for 238 rushing yards and three touchdowns last week. A win against Buffalo can quickly get Baltimore out of an early-season hole.” Tyler Dragon.

Prediction: Dragon: Ravens 26, Bills 22; Lorenzo Reyes: Bills 27, Ravens 21; Richard Morin: Bills 22, Ravens 18; Jordan Mendoza: Ravens 29, Bills 28
