Ravens rule out 3 players vs. Browns; Humphrey a game-time decision

OWINGS MILLS — The Ravens received good news Friday when wide receiver Zay Flowers returned to practice after missing the previous two days with an ankle injury.

Flowers was injured in the second quarter during the Ravens’ 41-31 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday night. Flowers returned to the game but was held out of practice. He leads the team in targets (49), receptions (34), and receiving yards (412).

Flowers is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns

“Zay being back, if he’s back, would be awesome,” coach John Harbaugh said. “He’s a big part of what we do for sure.”

Cornerback Marlon Humphrey, who has a team-leading four interceptions, remained sidelined with a knee injury. He is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Browns. Humphrey was able to work with trainers away from the practice field on Friday.

“We’ll find out as we get closer to Sunday,” Harbaugh said about Humphrey’s status.

Defensive tackle Travis Jones (ankle), along with cornerback Nate Wiggins (shoulder/illness) and Jalyn Armour-Davis (hamstring) are also questionable.

Rookie running back Rasheen Ali (ankle) and rookie cornerback T.J. Tampa (ankle) have been ruled out for Sunday. Running back Keaton Mitchell, who returned to practice for the first time this week, also will not play.

For the Browns, running back  Jerome Ford (hamstring), left tackle Jedrick Wills, linebacker Jordan Hicks and safety Ronnie Hickman have been ruled out.
