OWINGS MILLS — The Ravens-Dolphins matchup is the most compelling NFL game in Week 17.
As a result, most of the nation will be able to watch the game, according to the latest NFL Coverage Map provided by 506sports.com.
The Ravens can clinch the No. 1 seed and home-field advantage throughout the AFC playoffs.
The Dolphins need to beat the Ravens and the Bills to clinch the top seed in the postseason.
Miami has the most explosive offense in the NFL.
Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa leads the league with 4,214 yards passing with 26 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. The Dolphins can also run the ball. Raheem Mostert has 1,012 yards rushing and is averaging 4.8 yards per carry with 18 touchdowns
“It’s going to be a big challenge,” Ravens coach John Harbaugh said. “Their offense is very diverse, and their running game is a big part of it. They can run the ball outside. They run the ball in the alley. They run the ball in the C-gap, and they run the ball straight downhill. Raheem [Mostert] is the main guy. He’s their guy, but not the only guy. They have two other very good backs [De’Von Achane and Jeff Wilson Jr.]. You saw the game against the Cowboys kind of showed it off. It’s a very diverse offense.”
Miami scores 30.9 points per game, also the best in the NFL.
However, the Ravens have the league’s sixth-ranked defense and shut down the 49ers on Monday night.
“It’s definitely a huge game, but we’re not making it any bigger than what it is,” Ravens inside linebacker Roquan Smith said. “It’s the next game on the schedule, and we’re going to treat it just like any other game throughout the regular season. We’re going to be ready to rock and roll, and [we] have to be ready to protect the house by any means.”
