Ravens have just 2 players on Week 1 injury report vs. Chiefs

OWINGS MILLS — The Ravens will be close to full strength for their Week 1 prime-time matchup against the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday.

Rookie outside linebacker Adisa Isaac, who has a hamstring injury, did not practice. The Ravens selected Isaac in the third round (93rd overall) of the 2024 NFL draft. Last season, Isaac started all 13 games for Penn State and finished with 37 tackles (23 solo), 16 tackles for loss, 7 1/2 sacks, 4 quarterback hurries, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. The Ravens like his potential.

In addition, rookie running back Rasheen Ali was limited with a neck injury. Ali, a fifth-round pick from Marshall, made the team as the third running back but missed the final two preseason games.

Center Tyler Linderbaum was not listed on the injury report. Linderbaum practiced without a red non-contact practice jersey on Sunday and Monday for the first time since returning from his neck injury.

For the Chiefs, wide receiver Marquise Brown has been ruled out with a shoulder injury. The Ravens selected Brown with the 25th overall pick in the 2019 NFL draft. He had 195 catches for 2,361 yards and 21 touchdowns in his three seasons in Baltimore.

The other Chiefs players on the first injury report are: cornerback Nazeeh Johnson (hamstring, full participant);  defensive line Chris Jones (shoulder, full participant); cornerback Joshua Williams (hamstring, full participant); linebacker Nick Bolton (elbow, full participant), offensive lineman Wanya Morris (knee, full participant); defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi (triceps full participant);  guard Joe Thuney (pectoral, full participant); and long snapper James Winchester (shoulder, full participant).
